Hearts of the Week #5: November 10.

I know, it’s Sunday, and I have yet to post my Hearts of the Week for last week [bad Kacey], mainly because I was really busy this week, but also because there wasn’t much I was absolutely dyinnggggg over. So here I am, posted on some random street in LA, logged onto somebody’s wifi, writing the post for this week. Let’s see what happens.

Hearts of the Week TitleHeart: Free wifi. The first thing on my mind for what I’ve loved this week is free wifi. Aka the only reason I’m able to write this. I bring my computer pretty much everywhere I go now and it’s nice to be able to get work done from a seat at Starbucks [or a busy street in who know’s where]. It’s the little things in life.

Heart: Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia Kiss. My lips have been so unbelievably chapped, so this has been my lifesaver. I have one in my car, one in my purse, one in my bedroom, and one in my work bag [I guess you could say I’m obsessed].

Heart: Little puppies and babies. As I sit on this street, I realize that LA has probably some of the best people watching. A man in a red shirt and khakis, two girls coming back from yoga, and my personal favorite- the puppies and babies. Yes, we are lumping them together into one. I’ve had major puppy/baby fever since moving away. I think moving out onto my own gave me a heart, or something. But everytime I see a puppy or baby I just wanna play with it and give it lots of snuggles and just hang out. Weird? Yeah, probably. I cannot wait to go home for Thanksgiving and play with my best friend’s dog, or snuggle with my cousin’s baby. Yeah, this post is just getting weird…be done, Kacey.

So now that this favorites of the week post got sufficiently weird, and y’all probably want to put me in the corner to never blog again, I’m going to be done. What were you loving this week, or like in my situation, what were you loving today?

  1. I found a Give and Take Stall in my neighbourhood – you can leave an item there or take one if you need it free of charge. It really got me thinking of how I can be more charitable & give back to the community! I saw a little boy about 6 years old leave his teddy bear on it for another less fortunate kid. It really touched my heart – that’s what I was loving today 🙂
